He & Me Fishing: A Morning of Memories, Laughter & Adventure

There’s just something magical about a morning by the water. The sunshine sparkling across the lake, the excitement of casting a line, the laughter shared between families, and the joy on a Girl Scout’s face when she feels that first little tug on the fishing pole — it all comes together to create memories that last a lifetime.

We are so excited to invite our families to our upcoming He & Me Fishing Day on June 20, 2026, from 10:00am – 12:00pm at Buena Vista Park in Waco, Texas! 🎣💚

This special event is all about connection, confidence, and quality time outdoors. Whether your Girl Scout is attending with her dad, grandpa, uncle, stepdad, older brother, family friend, or another important role model in her life, this event is designed to celebrate those meaningful relationships while creating fun shared experiences together.

And the best part? No fishing experience is needed!

Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman or someone who has never touched a fishing rod before, everyone is welcome. We’ll spend the morning enjoying the outdoors, cheering each other on, sharing laughs, and making unforgettable memories together.

In addition to fishing, each registered participant will receive lunch and enjoy a special activity during the event, making this a full morning of fun, adventure, and connection for the whole family.

Events like this are such an important reminder that some of the very best moments happen when we simply slow down and spend intentional time together. Between the stories shared, the fish caught (or the ones that got away!), and the excitement of trying something new, our Girl Scouts will walk away with so much more than just fishing skills.
